The Urge to Create Is Not a Choice

A glimpse into what moves me to make art

I never planned to be an artist.
I didn’t even believe in art, not really.

I believed in structure. In intellect. In measurable things.
But at some point, all that collapsed. And something wild and unstructured started pouring through me.

I didn’t ask for it. I didn’t expect it.
But I couldn’t stop it either.

It started with drawings. Then came paint. And then came the kind of creative fire that doesn’t ask for permission.

Now, I make portraits of things that don’t always have a face — the sacred, the sensual, the unseen, the unsaid.
And I make them because I have to.

There’s no marketing plan behind this. No strategy.
There is just a pulse.
A pulse that says:
Now. Again. Go deeper.
